Objectives:
- give an account of the current state of knowledge in genetics, breeding trends and techniques for oil crops, particularly winter rape,
- develop new cultivars and technologies for biofuel production and nutritive uses,
- disseminate new ideas and achievements in these areas of crop improvement.
Methodology and study materials:
Two international conferences on Oilseed Crops will be organized in Poznań, in April 2004 and April 2005. Organized on an annual basis, 150 participants from 8 countries. During 10 sessions, new trends in oil crop genetics, breeding and utilisation will be presented and discussed, 2 of them will be organised within this package.
Expected results:
Establish new links between research groups from different countries
